DEPOSIT & PAYMENT
A deposit of 20% of the total booking must be made to secure your reservation. Payment can be made via EFT or over the phone via credit card. The balance of the rental amount must be received in full 14 days prior to occupancy, if payment is not made we reserve the right to cancel your booking and re-let the property.
In the event you wish to cancel your booking, you must notify us via email (email@example.com).
If the cancellation occurs more than 90 days prior to your reservation then your deposit will be refunded less a $50 cancellation fee. If the cancellation occurs less than 90 days prior to your reservation than any monies paid are non-refundable unless the apartment is re-let for the entire period. If the property can be re-let then a $50 cancellation fee will apply and the remainder of your payment will be refunded to you.
If cancellation occurs less than 48 hours before the reservation, all payments will be forfeited regardless of whether the property is re-let.
If your booking has been made via a third party site their refund policy applies.
We make every effort to ensure the property is available to you as booked. However on very rare occasions, the owners reserve their right to make alterations to bookings due to unforeseen circumstance, in which case all payments will be refunded in full and every effort made to help secure new accommodation for you.
We appreciate that the majority of guests will respect our property, however on occasion this does not occur and so to maintain a high standard for our guests we state the following conditions:
The number of guests must not exceed the number stated on the confirmation email, or subsequently agreed in writing. This includes but is not limited to the hosting of parties or functions, our rates do not allow for the extra wear associated with such activities in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, repairs etc. Please refrain from hosting guests at the apartment and keep noise at a minimum as to not disturb the neighboring houses.
We understand that accidents happen, however any damage, breakages, theft or loss are the guests responsibility during their stay. No responsibility is taken for guests personal property, if we find anything left behind during cleaning we will endeavor to contact you and are happy to arrange postage of smaller items if requested.
Check-in is form 2pm on your arrival day and we ask that you depart prior to 11am to allow for the property to be prepared for the next guests. The property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival and we do ask that you advise us of any issues or breakages on your departure.
Guests of Bella Costa are entitled to a 20% discount on board Bay of Fires Eco Tours during their rental period, this discount applies only to the specific guests and not family or friends and only for the duration of your stay.
